Sofia Ahmad
Sofia Ahmad is thrilled to be a part of this (dare make the overly obvious pun? sure why not!) Ruff and Tumbell gang. She is an actor, dancer and teacher (of theater, dance and Brusselstanian accents) and can also occasionally be found leading unwitting strangers on tours of North Beach with FOOT Tours. Recent acting credits include work with Shakespeare Santa Cruz (As You Like It, King Lear); Magic Theatre (Nero, The Black Eyed); SF Shakes (Much Ado About Nothing, tours of A Midsummer Night's Dream & Romeo and Juliet); Shotgun Players (Caucasian Chalk Circle, directed by Mr. Mayotte himself); SJ Stage (Treasure of the Sierra Madre). She is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory and sucked up lots of that good ol' NY biodynamic air.      
Andy Alabran
Andy Alabran is a Bay Area actor who has performed with the Shotgun Players and Killing My Lobster. Past acting credits include: Cyrano, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Mother Courage, The Miser, and The Death of Meyerhold. He has also had the fortune to perform at the Vancouver sketch festival and at A.C.T.'s Comedy Night with Killing My Lobster. He is currently working on a short film entitled Evolution: the Musical.      
Louise Chegwidden
Louise Chegwidden has been working as an actor in the Bay Area for 15 years. She has performed with Berkeley Repertory Theatre, TheatreWorks, Shakespeare at Stinson, Venture Theatre and Shotgun Players among others. Rough and Tumble has been her creative mecca for 6 years, mostly staged readings and fund-raisers. Louise is thrilled to be involved with 43 Prez, and thanks Julian in advance for supporting his parents in their work!      
Beth Daly
Beth Daly is a founding member of Rough and Tumble.
She holds a degree in theatre from California Institute of the Arts, and a Master's degree inEducation from University of California, Berkeley. Shecurrently teaches drama and english at San Lorenzo
High School.
     
Carolyn Doyle

Carolyn Doyle is a proud member of Rough and Tumble, where she last appeared in workshop productions of Suzan Lori-Parks' 365 Plays/365 Days Project and 43 Plays for 43 Presidents (at the SF Theater Festival). Locally, she has worked with Marin Theatre Co., Encore Theatre Co., SJ Rep's Red Ladder, Willows Theatre Co., Signal Theatre Co., Kaliyuga Arts, Eastenders Rep, Western Stage, Shotgun, Woman¡¦s Will, Theatre Rhino, the CA & SF Shakespeare Festivals and PlayGround (company member). As an emerging writer/solo performer she has been seen at the Lunchtime reading series of the Artists Development Lab at Z Space, "Tell It on Tuesday!" at Julia Morgan Ctr, the Thursday Night Combo series at EXIT Theatre and the SF Solo & SF Theater Festivals. Upcoming solo performances: counterPULSE's "Words First" series and the Marsh Rising series at The Marsh.

     
Janet Keller Janet Keller is a company member of Rough and Tumble, and has been seen in their productions of The Misanthrope, My Uncle Sam and Tom Jones (Bay Area Theatre Critics’ Circle Award for Best Ensemble). Local credits include A Christmas Carol at American Conservatory Theatre; Picnic at Marin Theatre Company; The Rivals with Berkeley Repertory Theatre; Our Town, The American Dream and The Rimers of Eldritch with Harvest Theatre Company; Poor Superman (Bay Area Theatre Critics’ Circle nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role) and The Client with Kaliyuga Arts; Nobody at Intersection for the Arts; and Lizzie, Or Better An Outlaw and Sandy Dennis at the Maisonettes at the SOMAR Theatre. Film credits include Breath (Best Actress Award, Thessalonika [Greece] Film Festival) and Vanilla. A professional speaker and executive coach, Janet runs Callback Communications, communications and leadership skills training firm. She is also the proud mother of 7-year-old Olivia, a budding thespian.      
Eowyn Mader
Éowyn Mader is very happy to be part of Rough and Tumble where she appeared recently in workshop productions of Candide and The Devil is an Ass. She has performed in the Bay Area with theaters such as the California Shakespeare Theater, the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Center REP, the Willows Theatre Company, Berkeley Repertory Theater and San Jose Stage Company. She is a co-founder of Signal Theatre Company, and also teaches music to young children in the Music Together program. www.eastbaymusictogether.com      
Cliff Mayotte
 

As the founding Artistic Director of the award-winning company Rough and Tumble, Cliff has staged productions of Macbett, Johnny Lonely's Unhappy Hour, Tom Jones, the Bay Area premiere of My Uncle Sam, The Misanthrope, the West Coast premiere of 43 Plays for 43 Presidents, a radio version of Much Ado About Nothing and workshop productions of The Devil is an Ass and Candide. Other recent directing projects include The Caucasian Chalk Circle for Shotgun Players, and a critically acclaimed revival of Eugene Ionesco’s The Chairs for Aurora Theatre Co. Cliff has also staged plays for Marin Shakespeare Company, The Marsh, Signal Theatre Co, Playground, DEO Ireland, and touring productions for Berkeley Repertory Theatre.


     
Joshua Pollock
Joshua Pollock has worked extensively throughout the Bay Area for over 15 years as an award-winning composer, actor, and playwright (Security, Get Me Rodd Keith!!) and throughout the world as a non-award-winning musician--with his own band, Six Eye Columbia, and in collaboration with the likes of John Cale, Flea, Damo Suzuki, Gong, Acid Mothers Temple, Pansy Division, and Texas punk/blues legend Gary Floyd, amongst others. He has recently released his first CD as a turntablist (Patience Cleveland, under the nom de plume DJ Female Convict Scorpion), and narrated the A&E documentary Hairdos & Heartache: Women Of Country Music. Josh has been with Rough & Tumble since it's inception.
